Hudson also encloses five diplomas for Foreign Members, requiring the signatures of Cumming and William Whewell. If [Samuel Hunter] Christie is still in Cambridge, the diplomas should be submitted for his signature too. He asks for their return as soon as possible.     </dc:description>
