Copy letter, John William Lubbock, Treasurer of the Royal Society, to John Cross Lubbock asks how the Royal Society's property might be affected by the plan being put forward, before replying to the solicitor of the Rector of Mablethorpe. He assumes that Cross resides within the parish. He asks that the reply be directed to him and not to Captain [Henry] Kater, who is out of town. 15 December 1831
