<dc:title>Copy letter, James Hudson, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society, to Mr Dolton, Rochester (Custom House)</dc:title>
<dc:description>A letter has been received from Captain Brinch of the Brig 'Minerva' to say that a box of books for the Royal Society from Christiania is at the Custom House at Rochester. Hudson asks for the best way to pay six shillings, noting that the Lords of the Treasury have made it a general order that all Royal Society books should be duty free and this may be checked via Mr Eales of the King's Warehouse. </dc:description>
