Letter extract, Secretary to the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury, Treasury Chambers, to Augustus Frederick, the Duke of Sussex, President of the Royal Society Noting that Sussex's suggestion on granting rooms in Somerset House (previously allocated to the Royal Society) to the Geological Society has met with apporval. The space does not communicate with the Royal Society's existing apartments and therefore would be useless to them. The Lords of the Treasury will give priority to Sussex's directions. 9 April 1834
