Copy letter from Walter White, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society, B H [Burlington House], to Messrs Banks and Barry Approving a proposal for the heating of the temporary meeting room. White also states, with regards to the corridor to be built across the forecourt, that there is a requirement for as much light as possible in the front hall and so requests the 'largest possible quantity of glass in the roof and sides of the northern end of the corridor'. 30 July 1868
