[William Leader] Maberly [Joint Secretary of the General Post Office] Explains that a receipt was sent to Mr Barry in Edinburgh, which, not only did not reach its destination until 25 August, but in another envelope. Uses the seal on the envelope as an example of the Royal Society seal. Encloses the replacement envelope so the guilty party can be identified through their handwriting. 4 October 1847
