Copy letter from C R [Charles Richard] Weld, the Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Capt F W [Frederick William] Beechey Regrets to inform that all the copies of Plate 9, rather than of 8, have already been published, therefore it is too late to make the requested alternation to the copper plate. Welds informs the Printers have been instructed to print an erratum to be attached to the plate and point out the mistake. 25 September 1848
