<dc:title>Copy letter from Walter White, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society, B H [Burlington House], to B [Balfour] Stewart</dc:title>
<dc:description>White informs Stewart that Volume VII of 'Memoirs of the Royal Astronomical Society' was borrowed from the Royal Society library for use at the Kew Observatory, and was returned damaged. The cover was warped from exposure to the sun and the book was stained. White tried to fix this but ultimately had to send the book to the binder for restoration. He asks that library books be better taken care of in the future.
