Copy letter from [Michael] Foster, Secretary of the Royal Society; to the Vice Admiral, Robert Hall, C.B Gives thanks for the offer of the 'Triton' to use for a dredging survey of the Faroe Channel in the summer of 1882. Informs that no more than 2 naturalist will require accommodation aboard the ship and the £100 should be enough to cover the expenses of the expedition. [See MS/427/173] 29 April 1882
