<dc:title>Copy letter from [Michael] Foster, Secretary of the Royal Society; to the Secretary of the Admiralty</dc:title>
<dc:description>Informs the decision of the Council not to publish Captain [Thomas Henry] Tizard's report of the Faroe Channel Exploration as it is unsuitable for publishing. States it could become publishable by 'throwing the narrative in to a somewhat different shape' and simplifying the charts. After this it can be communicated to the Royal Society through a Fellow as usually the case.</dc:description>
