Copy letter from John Evans, Treasurer of the Royal Society, to Barker, 11 Wharton Terrace Call Barker's attention 'to some mischief cause by the removal of gravel near the boundary of your garden'. Explains it is part of Barker's lease that he keep the property intact and asks for the gravel to be replaced by the person who removed it. Also asks for the ground rent which is now due, to be paid without delay. 29 September 1885
