  <dc:title>Report on the milling standard</dc:title>
<dc:description>Notes that some experiments seem to prove that there would be a great gain in foodstuffs if the milling standard were raised to 100% -- that the Committee has had the Wheat Commission cable to America for their opinion of the results -- that experiments in prisons had been considered, but were deemed difficult due to the 'suspicious attitude' of prisoners to staff -- that arrangements are therefore being made for analysis in a laboratory setting at London University -- thinks that part of the staff from the war hospitals could be used -- asks the Ministry of Food to provide an 'honorarium' toward the costs.</dc:description>
