Comment of the Bread and Food Reform League on a report from the Food Committee Regrets that the Food Committee in its report 'The Food Supply of the United Kingdom' has made a statement to the effect that bread made with 80% flour is 'considerably less digestible' than bread made with 70% flour -- questions the experiments this statement is based on -- suggests that when ground finely there is no digestibility difference and are substantial health benefits. 1917
