Letter from William B Hardy to Sir Henry Rew of the Ministry of Food Is sorry that the memos were sent to the Ministry after they had been received at 10 Downing street, but points out that sending memos there is 'a matter of routine' -- is glad to hear that the Ministry is willing to give information, as 'in this particular [the Committee] have been profoundly disappointed' -- notes that Wood's opinion, as the Scientific Advisor, is never taken. 24 April 1917
