Letter from D Noel Paton to William B Hardy Has received Hardy's telegram and booked a sleeper -- is not sure he will make it though and hopes Hopkins will take the chair -- thinks that there is not much in 'Hill's claim on chewing' -- a more important issue is the relation of food values at present prices and the possibility of substituting -- suggests that the committee should direct the attention of the Food Controller to the effects of price regulation. 28 October 1917
