Letter from M H Pattinson, of Pattinson's Banana Fruit Foods Ltd, to Lord Rhondda Advises Lord Rhondda to 'secure all the Bananas in Jamaica at once and have them dried with cocoa' -- notes that banana flour produces good bread -- thinks evaporated ripe bananas are also valuable -- advises on the best times to collect various fruits -- recommends that [the Ministry] 'clear out all the multiple shopkeepers and wholesale grocers...have their booths examined and you will get an eye-opener', also to 'stop all sugar supplies through wholesale grocers.' 5 July 1917
