Letter from William B Hardy to A R Ainsworth Encloses a paragraph for insertion in the circular -- asks that he be sent some copies of the circular as soon as it is sent to the Times -- notes that an offer has been made from France to harvest chestnuts there, where 'they are more abundant'. Paragraph for addition gives instructions that chestnuts should be gathered locally in a heap, their quantity estimated and a report sent to the Ministry of Munitions. 2 August 1917
