Letter from [William B Hardy] to the Director General of the Munitions Supply Is pleased to learn that the French Government intend to make use of horse chestnuts -- has asked [Admiralty Laboratories] to communicate with them 'the details of their processes' -- encloses letters from de Manblanc and Kennerley Hall [offering to provide chestnuts], and is assured by the Foreign Office that Hall is trustworthy. 17 August 1917
