<dc:title>Note on the use of potatoes by the Home Army</dc:title>
<dc:description>Note prepared for the Home Office by the Food Committee. Notes that the Ministry of Food has issued instructions on the large supply of potatoes -- suggests that the Home Army is stationed around the country, close to potato supplies, without the difficulties of transporting potatoes to big cities -- notes the nutritional value of the potato and its nitrogen content -- gives the Committee's suggestion that foods be introduced into the diet of the soldier in breads and as cereal replacement.</dc:description>
