<dc:title>Letter from Edward L S [Lygon Somers] Cocks, 47 Wilton Crescent, to [Alfred Bray] Kempe</dc:title>
<dc:description>Informs Kempe that he got the letter signed and took it to [Robert] Chalmers. He said that no Press communication should be made at present. Has informed [Robert William Frederick] Harrison of this. He believes a further letter from the Treasury will follow, but Chalmers will do his best to promote the interests of [William] Colbeck, his crew, and [Cyril] Longhurst. 'Poor Sir Clements [Markham] said I had made him sign his death warrant', but Cocks believes this is in his best interests.</dc:description>
