<dc:title>Copy letter from [Archibald Geikie], the Athenaeum, to Major [Leonard] Darwin</dc:title>
<dc:description>The Royal Society decided to refer Captain [Robert Falcon] Scott's complaints regarding the Meteorological Volume to Admiral [Arthur Mostyn] Field. Since he is both a naval officer and a member of the Committee of the Meteorological Office, he was counted on to provide an unbiased judgement. He provides a copy of Field's report, and will send another copy to Scott. He hopes Scott can be pursuaded to not take any further action.</dc:description>
