<dc:title>Letter from Edgar Speyer, 7 Lothbury, London, to Archibald Geikie, Shepherds Down, Haslemere</dc:title>
<dc:description>Thanks Geikie for sending letter with probable cost of publication of the scientific results of the British Antarctic Expedition; Geikie's opintion sought with regard to Sir Clements' estimate of the cost.

Geikie's reply is on the reverse of the document and is dated 11 May 1913. Geikie believes that the estimates of publication costs are 'mere guesses' because Sir Clements Markham had nothing to do with the publication of the results of the previous expedition to the Antarctic. </dc:description>
