<dc:title>Letter from W T [William Turner] Thiselton-Dyer, The Ferns, Wicombe, Gloucester, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>He has abandoned the proposal to use Mrs. [Julia Margaret] Cameron's photograph of Sir Joseph Hooker for the obituary notice, preferring to use the George Richmond early portrait. He is sending Larmor a photograph of this and he thinks Larmor will agree, although it needs to be reduced. For Hooker's middle life, Wallich's photograph could not be bettered. He will send a photograph in older age but he has abandoned the notion of Alfred Parsons' drawing. He would be glad to have a proof and he has finished the article for the Dictionary of National Biography. He congratulates Cambridge on [Joseph John] Thomson's O.M. </dc:description>
