<dc:title>Letter from J J [Joseph John] Thomson, Cavendish Laboratory, Cambridge, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>Thomson cannot go to the meeting on Thursday as his lectures will not be over in time for him to get to town. He has direct experience of [Charles Thomson Rees] Wilson, who has force of character and, he supposes, is not lacking in administrative capability. If the latter is more important than meteorology, then perhaps Larmor should consider Skinner who is a good organiser with knowledge of physics. </dc:description>
