<dc:title>Letter from T J J [Thomas Jefferson Jackson] See, Mare Island, California, to Sir Joseph Larmor, Cambridge</dc:title>
<dc:description>He thinks that Larmor will have received his third and fourth papers on the aether and the fifth and sixth will be out by the time the letter reaches him. Following up his cablegram, he has forwarded for publication a memoir on the causes of sunspots, their periodicity and the cause of thouands of variable stars. He has forwarded a postscript on the cause of Mira variable stars, the proof being 'solid as a mountain of granite'. He laments the lack of such great figures of the past at Cambridge, and complains about 'the humbuggery of Einsteinism'. </dc:description>
