<dc:title>Letter from T [Thomas] Bailey Saunders, The Knoll, Staveley Road, Eastbourne, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>Saunders has caught a chill and therefore will not come to town. The Trustees would be well satisfied if any of the following were appointed: [Arthur] Smith Woodward, [Francis] Grant Ogilvie, and Sir William Osler. Saunders would prefer the latter: he is a friend, is well qualified, and could address Tempest Anderson's preferences in therapeutics and pathology. He is with Larmor in thinking that what is needed in financial assistance is not immediately productive subjects, but pure science.</dc:description>
