<dc:title>Letter from T E [Thomas Edward] Thorpe, 61 Ladbroke Grove, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>Thorpe will consent to edit Cavendish's chemical memoirs if the Syndics will formally ask him to do it on the terms stated; editing would be done with no expense to them. The purely physical memoirs might be taken charge of by Larmor. He reiterates that he could not begin until he has completed the remaining volumes of the 'Dictionary of Applied Chemistry'. He has been asked to be responsible for the chemistry within the new edition of the British Pharmacopia, but that should be completed within the same time. </dc:description>
