Letter from W C D [William Cecil Dampier] Whetham, Upwater Lodge, Cambridge, to [Joseph] Larmor A pupil of Whetham's, [Will] Spens, has found an interesting relation between the concentration and osmotic pressure of a solution. This was deduced by thermodynamic reasoning. Whetham has no confidence in his own ability to criticise the mathematics and therefore they would both be grateful if Larmor could examine it.
