<dc:title>Letter from E T [Edmund Taylor] Whittaker, Scotsdale, Grantchester Street, Cambridge, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>During the Long Vacation, Whittaker wrote the enclosed paper [not present] in which he gives solutions for equations, including [Pierre-Simon] Laplace's, and 'a new view of gravitation'. He asks Larmor to look at the gravity part of the paper and to give his opinion. This has been revised as a result of some criticisms by [Augustus Edward Hough] Love.

With some pencil notes by Joseph Larmor. </dc:description>
