<dc:title>Letter from H H [Herbert Hall] Turner, University Observatory, Oxford, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>He has just read Larmor's account of [Edward John] Routh's work, not knowing that he had played such a role in theoretical dynamics. He wishes that Larmor 'would take a class of us' on the American trip. [Philip Herbert] Cowell has surveyed [Simon] Newcomb's work very fairly. These two have given him a very pleasant morning with the Royal Society's Proceedings. Turner is coming up for dinner on Wednesday, and asks if Larmor would like him to attend on Tuesday evening as well. </dc:description>
