Her husband [George Francis Fitzgerald] too a great interest in the University Boat Club includign moving it to its present position on the Liffey. Upon his death, she felt a desire to become close to his interests. The Boat Club is struggling, with members not able to look after its grounds. Friends have been kind in giving plants for the Club house borders ansd a shilling has been added to subscriptions for the purpose. She asks Larmor for a donation, and reports briefly in her children. </dc:description>
