Letter from A R [Andrew Russell] Forsyth, Trinity College, Cambridge, to [Joseph] Larmor Forsyth thinks it quite reasonable to ask [Howard Turner] Barnes to condense his introduction, supposing the paper is for the Philosophical Transactions. Once this has been done and the paper returned, undue spacing should be prevented and any resulting revision by White should rest with the author. Forsyth could have a private word with Barnes to smooth out any difficulties. 12 February 1902
