<dc:title>Letter from Arthur Gamgee, the Royal Society, Burlington House, London, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>He encloses the Royal Society's Latin address to the University of Berne. Gamgee wrote the English version and his friend Philip Hope provided the Latin translation, although Gamgee also helped. He hopes that Larmor will approve and asks him to read it to the Royal Society, as Gamgee is engaged in correcting his Philosophical Transactions paper and other tasks. In a postscript he notes that the Clarendon Press submitted the text to another scholar, who did not change it.</dc:description>
