<dc:title>Letter from Arthur Gamgee, the Royal Society, Burlington House, London, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>Gamgee thanks Larmor for his two letters. The Latin correction is admirable. Gamgee has 'as a pedant' made tiny amendments, approved by a Latin scholar used by the Clarendon Press. Mr. White and Gamgee have traced [Albrecht von] Haller's election date and have corrected this in the text. He proposes that the election certificate should be photographed and the image presented to the University of Berne. The cost should be small and Gamgee would be willing to pay for it. The publisher will pay for the photogaphy of the portraits. He notes the reference to Haller's mathematical work on the certificate.</dc:description>
