<dc:title>Letter from Arch [Archibald] Geikie, Dunbar, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>Larmor's letter reached Geikie as he was travelling to Aberdeen. He has read [Charles] Chree's letter. Helping Milne would be good for British seismology, but 'he is a most difficult man to help, touchy to a degree and nervously afraid of interference'. It is difficult to make suggestions to him without hurting his feelings. Milne might listen to suggestions from Lord Rayleigh and they should discuss the matter. Geikie mentions the meetings of the Franco-Scottish Society and relays his Aberdeen address. </dc:description>
