Letter from Arch [Archibald] Geikie, Haslemere, to [Joseph] Larmor Geikie has received a letter from Walker and has written back, authorising him to engage Southerns [?] or anyone else the sub-committee may approve of at the pay scale agreed by the Gassiot Committee. He gives his travel plans, including a stay with [Alfred Bray] Kempe. He hopes that Larmor will come to St. Andrews. Geikie intends to take his daughter with him. 28 August 1911
