Letter from J D [Joseph David] Everett, Lennoxvale, to [Joseph] Larmor Dr. [David] Dunne has sent the examination papers for correction, contained in six books, which he forwards. Everett has corrected his own questions and a few others. Dunne has stated that Curtis has corrected his questions, but Everett has found some not done. When Larmor has finished, he should send on to [Gerald] Molloy or to Curtis. Everett has heard nothing about the Galway Chair, only Larmor's brother's testimonials and Anderson's. The standing committee has interfered with awards in mathematics and mathematical physics and Everett gives an account of the committee members' positions, concluding that a protest against interference will be sent to the committee. 5 November 1885
