Letter from J A [James Alfred] Ewing, 16 Moray Place, Edinburgh, to [Joseph] Larmor Ewing was sorry to hear of Larmor's illness and troubling him with bother about [Bertram] Hopkinson's book. He thanks Larmor for the clear account of the inserted page. He was not cogniscent of Mrs. Hopkinson's communications. He has now gone over things with her and she agrees that it would only be desirable to insert General Currie's letter and he notes the best place for it. He had suggested this already, but if the sheet has been printed, he proposes an alternative place as a footnote in the memoir. Robertson's memorandum seemed to be written in a slipshod way, amd inserting two pages into the biographical section disturbed the flow, and was a mistake. 27 November 1920
