<dc:title>Letter from A S [Arthur Stanley] Eddington, Observatory, Cambridge, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>He writes to wish Larmor happiness in his retirement. He does not know if Larmor intends to continue residing in Cambridge. He hopes to see Larmor, noting that he must come to hear the nightingales when they arrive. Eddington hopes that 'among the new mad developments of physics today', Larmor will understand that Cambridge looks back with admiration on his contribution. 'Aether and Matter' made a great impression on Eddington as did Larmor's lectures, when he was a student. Eddington has just returned from America, where he had a pefect view of the eclipse. </dc:description>
