<dc:title>Letter from Geo Fras [George Francis] Fitzgerald, 1 Windsor Terrace, Maalahide, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>He sees Larmor's argument, not appreciating before that the entropy was independent of the nature of the solvent, and was the same as if there was none. Larmor does assume he knows the forces between salt and solvent and that the force is zero. Fitzgerald gives his objection and does not like the term 'available energy', which is likely to muddle a student. Fitzgerald is too occupied to attempt the two spheres problem, discussing this, and the need to look up Larmor's paper, where he may have considered this already. </dc:description>
