<dc:title>Letter from T L [Thomas Little] Heath, 15 Montpelier Square, London, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>He has considered Larmor's letter, but he cannot help in the preparation of a definitive edition of Newton. He gives an account of his activities since finishing Euclid, including a new edition of Diophantus and a translation of Aristarchus, with a sketch of early Greek astronomy. Cambridge University Press have asked him to write a general history of Greek mathematics, and he must still complete editing his Pappus. It will be as much as he can do before he dies and he ought not to undertake anything else. He has hoped to explain this to Larmor at the Athenaeum, but he has not been able to catch him there.</dc:description>
