<dc:title>Letter from R T [Richard Tetley] Glazebrook, the National Physical Laboratory, Bushy House, Teddington, Middlesex, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>He is sorry not to have seen Larmor, who has probably heard from [Archibald] Geikie about the mistake about the quick news. It is unfortunate and Glazebrook will see what can be done. Possibly Christchurch did observe all day and can reduce the two sets of observations. Glazebrook relates a telephone conversation with [Charles] Chree, saying that Batavia and Pola stations have published quick news and have observed in accordance with typed instructions. It is important that they find out what others have done and he notes that [Ettrick William] Creak wrote the article in the manual. Glazebrook gives a list of possible Royal Society retirements and nominations to the General Board, with a commentary on the individuals. </dc:description>
