<dc:title>Letter from William Huggins, 90 Upper Tulse Hill, S W [South West] London, to the Secretary [Joseph Larmor]</dc:title>
<dc:description>He is sorry he could not be with Larmor that day, due to a bad cold. He informs Larmor of [Arthur] Schuster's ambition to be chosen as Foreign Secretary of the Royal Society. He believes [Francis] Darwin still has two years left to serve but wishes Larmor to be aware of Schuster's ambition, in case Darwin should resign. He has written to Rayleigh regarding Madame [Marie] Curie's work, and what numbers have been derived from the spectrum lines. He will be looking into J J [Joseph John] Thomson's new volume. </dc:description>
