Huggins then agrees with Rayleigh's view that the 'lectures' should be 'something more than a paper given in greater detail'.  He notes that the point he is doubtful of is how far such a paper is controversial. He says 'in the selection of a paper for a "lecture" for the Chemical, the society might be accused of taking a side', though notes that this paper is likely not so controversial. </dc:description>
