<dc:title>Letter from Edward M [Mann] Langley, 48 Waterloo Road, Bedford, to J [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>Through correspondence resulting from a photograph in the [Mathematical] Gazette he got to know of the existence of Brook Taylor correspondence. He describes this, which is in the possession of Ernest Taylor of Bushey. He examined the interesting papers, making notes, with references to the Leibnitz-Newton controversy. He could call upon Larmor in Cambridge to give him more of idea of the material. It had been noted by H. Bateman in Bibliotecha Mathematica in 1907, but this gives little idea of the content.</dc:description>
