<dc:title>Letter from Alex [Alexander] Larmor, Foyle College, Londonderry, to Joseph [Larmor]</dc:title>
<dc:description>He has seen an advertisement for candidates for the vacant Chair of Natural Philosophy at Q.C.B. [Queen's College Belfast]. He is writing for particulars of the salary and duties. Nothing has leaked out about the intentions of the Governors and he has been asked to carry on the school until June. They are entirely at the Governors' mercy and therefore he would be inclined to become a candidate for Belfast. He thinks that other candidates would not have a degree in experimental physics. He asks for Joseph's opinion.</dc:description>
