Letter from J [John] Joly, yacht 'Woodcock', to [Joseph] Larmor Larmor's letter of the 10th has just reached Joly. He does not think the enclosure should appear, as he recollects that the method was cumbersome, although there was no fatal objection to it that he can recall. 'The note on the R.D.S. describes some workable methods...' Joly thinks that only the most important papers of [Lord Kelvin?] should appear. 29 July 1901
