<dc:title>Letter from [Oliver Joseph Lodge], 2 Grove Park, Liverpool, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>Lodge describes a channel of mercury conveying a current which tends which swell outwards and, if straight, stretched and thins. He sketches how it looks under the microscope when a strong current is applied to mercury in two pools with a channel between. He then describes four pools with a cruciform channel between, giving the shape of the mercury in cross-section. He sends these particulars not knowing if they will be useful to Larmor or not. </dc:description>
