<dc:title>Letter from J [John] Joly, Somerset House, Temple Road, Dublin, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>The notice of W E [William Ernest] Wilson's death in the papers stated that the funeral was private and therefore Joly took no action. He sent a telegram to Mrs Wilson as soon as he received Larmor's letter asking about the arrangements, and the Royal Society's desire to send a representative. The answer stated that the funeral had taken place that morning. Joly notes their sense of loss of 'the loveable nature of the man'. </dc:description>
