<dc:title>Letter from Horace Lamb, Medindee, Burton Road, Didsbury, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>He asks if Larmor has seen the advertisement for external examiners at Victoria University and asks if he would be a candidate. It would depend upon the actions of people at Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds, and their feelings are difficult to gauge, but Larmor would not be passed over unless to a very good candidate. Future work would be divided, which Lamb explains, noting the pay of £35 and travelling expenses. He has no idea of who the candidates might be, although an Oxford man has been mentioned. </dc:description>
